Art and Music

Today was the "Art & Music, Meet & Greet" today at Maya's school. We started with a music session on the house - presented by Kindermusik. There were lots of songs, instruments, and fun things to do. Then we had a picnic lunch that we brought - cheese and fruit. Daddy and Maya made sugar cookies that we brought with us and shared with everyone. Then Daddy went home to tape the IU game and Mommy and Maya did art in the barn. We had scribble time and Maya named our creation, "Curley Whirley". Then we had to say what animal we would be, if we were an animal. We decided that Maya was a zebra, because she likes to run. Mommy was an elephant because she likes to eat. (well it's true, and it's not a great self-image day). Lambie was a pig because she has a pink nose! Then we had to make our animals. After making a rain stick, it was time to go home. A fun, and exhausting day.....
