Letter to Santa

Maya is reluctant to see Santa this year and decided to write him a letter instead. I picked up "Santa's Magic Pen" at Hallmark and we wrote the letter tonight. The set included a book and a cute pen. The story is about a magic pen, created by Santa's Elf-in-Charge. When Santa loses the pen - dropping it at a little girl's house when he is delivering gifts - it gives the elf the idea to create more pens and give them to children. When a letter to Santa is written with the pen, it magically appears in the Official Record Book at the North Pole. The letter can't be lost! It doesn't say by the post office, but I couldn't help but think of that, hehehe. We wrote the letter on a page in the book - there are more pages for years to come. How cute is that?

Dear Santa, I've been very good and I help Mommy and Daddy all day at my house. I help Grandpa with his coat and I help Grandma with the balloon. Please bring me a pink mouse (wind-up); a T-rex and a train. I'll give you delicious cookies that look like ornaments and good milk. Signed, Maya.
