We went to Isla Morada and then to the Pandora store. We were a little early for our May charms, but we couldn't wait! Grandma picked out her Birthday and Mother's Day presents :)

Grandma, Maya and I took the train downtown to see the Macy's Flower Show.

We had lunch in the Walnut Room where beautiful flowers took the place of the Christmas tree in the center of the atrium.

Come explore the Wonderful World of Worms as staffers from the University of Illinois Extension provide a hands-on learning experience for children of all ages. In celebration of Macy's Flower Show, kids will learn the basics of worm composting, including learning about Red Wigglers, one of nature's best recyclers, the science behind composting and viewing a worm's anatomy under a microscope. The fun continues with a special appearance from Smurf and Smurfette, who will be on-hand to take photos with the kids. Plus, enjoy face painting, balloon artistry and craft stations creating colored paper mosaics and tissue flowers.

Easter Egg Hunt

Maya's friend, Brynn, invited her to an Easter egg hunt on Saturday. Unfortunately, I was "under the weather", "hugging porcelain", okay too much information. Wayne took Maya, here's some pics of what I missed. Looked like fun!

Easter Pictures Galore!

Happy Easter!!!

Easter morning! Maya found bunny-prints outside the bedroom door. Where did they lead? After an excited squeal (ouch!), she followed the paw-prints down the stairs, around the corner. She knew it was no ordinary bunny....the paw-prints were pink!

Then she saw the EGGS!!! More screams of delight. Running....more running...as she filled up her basket. And Daddy's tummy. That Easter bunny know his treats :) This year, chocolate goldfish and animal crackers. Not to mention the marshmallow chicks. How did the Easter bunny know this little girl loves her mashmos!?

Then Maya opened her present from Cousin Pat. Cousin Pat made this Easter bunny, just special for Maya and mailed it all the way from Arizona. We love you Cousin Pat! AND Maya loves, loves, loves her bunny.

After dinner, Maya and Uncle J settle in for some tower building and GIGGLES!
