Jaime, Greg, Katherine, and Jacob came over for a playdate! Jaime brought pizza fixins' and the kids made us a yummy lunch.

Playdate with Katherine and Jacob
Christopher's Birthday Party and Mommy and Maya Day
Maya's classmate, Christopher, invited her to his birthday party at Jump Zone in Crown Point. It was nice to have a "playdate" during Christmas break so she could see her friends from school. Maya played with Hana but after everyone left, one little girl named Ellie and Maya played for another hour. They are new "BFF's"!
Then Maya and I went to Cracker Barrel where we shopped and shopped then had a yummy snack/lunch. Shoe shopping followed - Maya had so much fun trying on women's shoes! She was just adorable and it was a very fun Mommy-and-Maya day :)
New Year's Eve
We went to a party at Lee and Janet Will's to celebrate the new year. Maya made to midnight for the first time! She had a blast playing with Dax (Lee and Janet's grandson). Lavonne, Sean and Dax left about 9:30, but we stayed and Maya treated everyone to an encore of her school winter concert. She did great at Catch Phrase too!

Mikaela's 6th Birthday Party
Maya came home from her first day of school and told me that she had a new friend. A little girl who had sat next to her and asked her to be "best friends". We went to Mikaela's birthday party today - she's 6 years old and likes Justin Bieber :) Her family is wonderful and I had as much fun as Maya did!

Lucas' Birthday Party
Lucas is one of Maya's classmates from Field Station and one of my favorite kids! His family has had us over several times in the last few years and we always love to visit. Lucas' birthdays are events not-to-miss! This year was no exception, in fact, you might say it was "Super" with special Super Hero guests.
